S32V234-EVB2-D Overview

NXP has released the Blubox platform to provide OEM suppliers with a solution computing platform for designing, manufacturing, and selling Level 4 (SAE) driverless cars.

S32V234 is the ADAS processor launched in 2015 in NXP’s S32V series. It supports CPU (4 ARM V8 architecture A53 and M4), GPU (GC3000), and image recognition processing (CogniVue APEX2 processor) for complex calculations, with a low 5W Through the CogniVue APEX2 processor, it can simultaneously support four car cameras (front, rear, left, right), capture and classify images, and the GPU can perform real-time 3D modeling, with a calculation volume of 50GFLOP. Look around 360 degrees to complete functions such as automatic parking. At the same time, the chip inserts interfaces that support millimeter-wave radar, lidar, and ultrasonic, which can realize multi-sensor fusion. The chip supports the ISO 26262 ASIL B standard.
