MPC8536EBVJANGA Overview

The MPC8536E PowerQUICC® III is designed to deliver gigahertz-class complex applicationprocessing performance with advanced feature integration and high-speed connectivity for IP network and advancedmedia processing applications. It combines a robust e500 processor core, with enhanced peripherals and interconnecttechnology, to balance processor performance with I/O system throughput. The MPC8536E processor includes advancedenergy management features that will enable next-generation embedded Internet media processing applications withenergy efficiency levels under the environmental and governmental energy regulatory requirements.

TheMPC8536E processor implements sophisticated power-saving modes for managing energy consumption in both dynamic andstatic power modes. Designers will be able to leverage these modes to efficiently match work accomplished with thecorrect level of energy consumed.
