ATWINC3400-MR210UA Overview

Microchip's ATWINC3400 is an IEEE 802.11 b/g/n plus Bluetooth 5 Core Specification, Internetof Things (IoT) network controller module. It is the ideal add-on to existing microcontroller(MCU) solutions, offering Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) network capabilitiesthrough a SPI-to-Wi-Fi interface. The ATWINC3400 connects to anyMicrochip PIC® or SAM MCU with minimal resource requirements. A MCU host driver can be found in the Advanced Software Framework (ASF).

The ATWINC3400’smost advanced mode is a single-stream 1 x 1 802.11n mode. The ATWINC3400 features a fully integrated power amplifier,LNA, switch and power management. The ATWINC3400 also features an on-chip processor andintegrated Flash memory for system software with built-in coexistence mechanismfor concurrent Wi-Fi and BLE functionality. The only external clock sourceneeded for the ATWINC3400 is a high-speed crystal or oscillator. The ATWINC3400 is availablein a 36-pin module with dimensions of 22.4 x 14.7 mm.
