The AT28HC256-70PI is a high-speed, low-power 256-kilobit (32K x 8) CMOS electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM). It has a maximum access time of 70 nanoseconds and can operate on a single power supply ranging from 4.5V to 5.5V.
