1. Ultrasonic Oxygen and Flow Sensors for Medical Devices

It is well known that patients need oxygen during treatment. "Oxygen" in general hospitals is a mixture of pure medical-grade oxygen and air humidification and filtration. The doctor will measure and monitor the patient's inhaled and exhaled oxygen concentration, flow, pressure, flow rate, etc. in real time according to the specific treatment needs. In special cases, patients need 100% pure oxygen. Therefore, oxygen concentration and flow measurement play an important role in different medical devices and therapeutic instruments.

 

2. Technical principle of ultrasonic time difference method

 

The ultrasonic time difference method uses a pair of ultrasonic transducers to send and receive ultrasonic waves alternately (or at the same time), and indirectly measures the flow velocity of the fluid by observing the forward and backward propagation time difference of the ultrasonic waves in the medium (gas or liquid), and then through the flow velocity.

 

An indirect method of calculating flow. Flow measurement on the ultrasonic principle only depends on flow and geometry, not on temperature, gas composition, humidity or pressure.
